The Concert On The Hill

Just wanted to say that Moncton pulled off another huge event this past weekend and except for some intervention by Mother Nature (pounding rain & some really wild thunder and lightning near the end) it was a terrific day. My buddies and I rolled up at about 5 o'clock, just in time to see George Canyon. He was great. So was Sugarland & Brooks and Dunn, but Alan Jackson was definitely the highlight. He put on a terrific show. He and his production team showed that they do their research too. Plenty of well placed local mentions and photos during his performance. His tune "Where I Come From was accompanied by a massive photo and video collection of local street signs and concert goers, local beer and team logos and even some shots of Canadian military personnel. Great job by AJ. Also wanted to say that I think it was CTV's Jodi Cook who emceed the evening...she's going to be a big star.

Thanks for walking home in the rain with me,
Tony Smith
