Nerds! Nerds! Nerds!

On Friday night The Magic 104 Radioactives made the scene at The 5th Annual Battle Of The Brains for The Greater Moncton YMCA. We were the media sponsor of the trivia event that started 5 years ago with 7 teams and raised $3,000. This year we had 30 teams registered and raised over $14,000 for The YMCA community outreach programs! Our thanks to Bonnie and the volunteers from the YMCA for a great night and for putting up with our rowdy team. We decided that since we were going to the Battle Of The Brains we'd dress up like nerds. Shelli's the one in pigtails...she brought her compass just in case we got lost. That's me with the fu-manchu...and yes...my wife made me shave it off the next day. By the way...out of 30 teams we came in tied for 12th...not bad considering we spent most of the night trying to bribe the judges.
