Greater Moncton Kicks Off Christmas!

The biggest Christmas parade in Atlantic Canada got even bigger over the weekend...A lot bigger. Estimates are that between 160,000 and 170,000 people lined the streets of Moncton for the 38th annual Santa Claus Parade. That's up from just over 100,000 last year. The parade featured more than 100 entries this year. Magic 104 once again took part in the annual Tim Horton's Christmas Food Drive. You were more generous than ever this year donating an estimated 7 tonnes of food along the parade route. That's almost double the 4 tonnes donated last year! I knew it was more than last year when I found myself buried by the time we got to Highfield Square! Thanks for your donations and thanks for listening!
